NASCAR: Final 2017 Team Power Rankings – Furniture Row Racing goes out on top
By Asher Fair
Which of the four teams represented in the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway end the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season with the most momentum?
The 36th and final race of the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season and thus the 10th and final playoff race of the season and the lone Championship 4 race, the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida, featured a championship battle that will not be forgotten anytime soon.
The Ford EcoBoost 400 is officially in the books, and the four Championship 4 drivers, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski, had the opportunity to battle for the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series championship.
But the three former champions in that group of four were the three who were unable to claim the 2017 title. The lone driver in the Championship 4 who had not won a Cup Series championship before this season was Martin Truex Jr., and he won the race, thus securing his first career title.

Which teams rank where in these rankings following Martin Truex Jr. and Furniture Row Racing’s race and championship victories at Homestead-Miami in the final race of the 2017 season?
NOTE:
The “Last week” category includes the finishing positions for each of a team’s drivers in the latest NASCAR race, which was at Homestead-Miami.
The “Last rank” category includes each team’s ranking in the previous edition of the NASCAR team power rankings, which were the rankings after the Phoenix race.
Also note the following:
- Only teams’ Championship 4 playoff drivers are factored into these rankings.
- All teams with at least one Championship 4 playoff driver are included.
