NASCAR Xfinity Series: 2018 Roseanne 300 at Fontana results

Joey Logano took the checkered flag in the 2018 Roseanne 300, the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
Joey Logano drove to victory lane in his #22 Ford for Team Penske after a dominant performance in the fifth NASCAR Xfinity Series race of the 2018 season, the Roseanne 300 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
Logano took the checkered flag by 1.429 seconds over 2nd place finisher Justin Allgaier, the driver of the #7 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports. Chevrolet drivers took four of the top five spots in the finishing order. The highest finishing Toyota driver was Ryan Preece in his #18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. He finished in 9th.
After starting the race from 2nd place, Logano led 139 of the 150 laps around the four-turn, 2.0-mile D-shaped oval. He won both stage one and stage two en route to his first Xfinity Series victory of the season.

The race featured a total of only six lead changes among five different drivers. In addition to Logano, four drivers led laps throughout the race, with those four drivers combining to lead just 11 laps. Those drivers were Allgaier, who led two laps, Eliott Sadler, who led four laps, Ryan Sieg, who led one lap, and polesitter Christopher Bell, who led four laps. The race featured a total of seven caution flag periods for 32 laps.
Of the five Xfinity Series races so far this season, four have been won by Cup Series regulars. Logano’s victory made it four wins in a row for Cup Series regulars in Xfinity Series races.
