After a snow-caused postponement, the sixth race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season is in the books. Which teams rank where in the team power rankings after the STP 500?

A total of 38 NASCAR Cup Series drivers were set to drive 500 laps around the four-turn, 0.526-mile Martinsville Speedway oval in Ridgeway, Virginia on last Sunday afternoon. However, a snowstorm prevented that from happening, and the race ended being pushed back until this past Monday.

For Clint Bowyer, it was worth the wait, as he won his first race since he won at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina back in October of 2012. The win was his first victory in his last 191 races, as it ended what was a 190-race win drought.

That said, as the driver of the #14 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing, Bowyer actually continued a familiar trend that the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season has had so far: Stewart-Haas Racing finding victory lane.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Bowyer is in his second season driving for Stewart-Haas Racing, so he had never driven his #14 Ford to victory lane prior to the STP 500. However, six races into the 2018 season, Stewart-Haas Racing drivers have won four races.

Throughout all of last season, they won just three races.

Bowyer became the second different Stewart-Haas Racing driver to win a race this season, as Kevin Harvick won three races in a row prior to last week’s race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

What did the action from the STP 500 at Martinsville do to the NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings?

Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings following the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Note that StarCom Racing was removed from both of these rankings as a result of the fact that they parted ways with Jeffrey Earnhardt, who was originally slated to be their full-time driver throughout the 2018 season.

For more information about how the formulated 2018 NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings are calculated, read this Beyond the Flag article that was published before the season began.
