This Sunday’s IndyCar race is the 44th annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on the streets of Long Beach, California. Here is the full entry list for the race.
The third race of the 2018 IndyCar season is set to take place this Sunday, April 15th following the Desert Diamond West Valley Casino Phoenix Grand Prix at ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, which took place this past Saturday.
This Sunday’s IndyCar race is the 44th annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, and it is set to be held at the historic 11-turn, 1.968-mile street circuit on the streets of Long Beach, California.
The race is scheduled for 85 laps (167.28 miles) around the street circuit. A total of 19 drivers in the 24-car field will aim to become the seventh different winner of the race in the last seven years, while Will Power, Takuma Sato, Scott Dixon, Simon Pagenaud and James Hinchcliffe will all attempt to win the race for the second time since 2011.

Mike Conway, who won the race in 2011 and 2014, is not driving in this weekend’s race. In fact, he has not driven in an IndyCar race since the 2014 season.
Last season’s race was won by James Hinchcliffe, who had not won an IndyCar since his near-fatal accident at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May of 2015 when he was practicing for the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 later that month. He has not won a race since he won this race last year.
From 2012 to 2016, the winners of the race were Will Power, Takuma Sato, Mike Conway, Scott Dixon and Simon Pagenaud, respectively.
