The fourth race of the 2018 IndyCar season is set to take place this Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park. Here is the entry list for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama.

The fourth race of the 2018 IndyCar season is set to be held this Sunday, April 22nd, and it is set to take place at the 17-turn, 2.38-mile Barber Motorsports Park natural terrain road course in Birmingham, Alabama.

This race, the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, has been on the IndyCar schedule in each season since it was added back in the 2010 season. All drivers who have won the race were either previously IndyCar champions or went on to become IndyCar champions except for Helio Castroneves, who won the inaugural running of the race in 2010.

Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden won the 90-lap race last season for the second time in three years before going on to win his first career IndyCar championship. Last year’s race featured 21 drivers, while this year’s race is set to feature 23, a total that is tied for the highest total number of drivers in the race since 26 drivers drove in the race back in the 2013 season.

More from IndyCar

In eight previous races at Barber, no driver has won the race after starting lower than 9th place, and three drivers have won it from the pole position. Newgarden won it after starting in 7th last year, which is the second lowest starting position for a winner of the race of all-time behind Will Power’s starting position of 9th when he won it back in the 2012 season. Where will this year’s race winner start on the grid?

In addition to the 20 full-time drivers, three part-time drivers are set to drive in the race this weekend. Zachary Claman DeMelo is set to drive the #19 Honda for Dale Coyne Racing while Jordan King is set to drive the #20 Chevrolet for Ed Carpenter Racing and Rene Binder is set to drive the #32 Chevrolet for Juncos Racing.
