Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport took their second overall win and second consecutive win in the 2018 Formula 1 season in the Emirates Spanish Grand Prix.
Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton claimed his second overall victory and second consecutive victory of the 2018 Formula 1 season, giving the team two victories through five races in 2018 and tying them for the lead in the sport.
Hamilton did so at the 16-turn, 2.892-mile (4.655-kilometer) Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, Barcelona, Spain, and he did so by 20.593 seconds over his teammate Valtteri Bottas in second place, giving Mercedes their first 1-2 finish of the season.
Mercedes have joined Scuderia Ferrari as the two teams with two victories through five races so far this season, as Sebastian Vettel won the first two races of the season for Ferrari.

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing are the other team with a race win so far this season, as they won the Chinese Grand Prix with Daniel Ricciardo last month.
No team not named Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull Racing have not won a race since Kimi Raikkonen won for Lotus in the season opener in the 2013 season, the Australian Grand Prix. Lotus are no longer in Formula 1. These three teams have combined to win each of the last 102 races now.
