Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo rolled to his second victory of the 2018 Formula 1 season in the Grand Prix of Monaco.

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo started from the pole position in the Monaco Grand Prix, the sixth race of the 2018 Formula 1 season, at the 19-turn, 2.074-mile (3.337-kilometer) Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Monaco, and he never looked back.

In fact, none of the drivers behind Ricciardo on the starting grid in the top six looked forward nor back. Ricciardo led every one of the race’s 78 laps, and everyone who started from second through sixth place finished where they started.

Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen started and finished the race in second and fourth place, respectively, and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas started and finished the race in third and fifth, respectively.

Sahara Force India’s Esteban Ocon started and finished in sixth place. Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Pierre Gasly, who was the highest finishing driver among those who advanced positions from their starting positions throughout the race, finished in seventh after starting in 10th.

Ricciardo ended up winning the race by 7.336 seconds ahead of Vettel in second place. Ricciardo’s teammate, Max Verstappen, finished in ninth after starting in 20th (last) since he was unable to qualify due to the fact that he crashed in final practice and his crew discovered a gearbox issue when they were repairing his car.

Of the 20 drivers who started the race, 17 finished it, as Renault Sport’s Fernando Alonso was forced to retire on lap 53 with a gearbox issue and Alfa Romeo Sauber’s Charles Leclerc and Toro Rosso’s Brendon Hartley were involved in a crash on lap 71. Of the 17 drivers who finished the race, 13 finished it on the lead lap.
