Conclusion
Two of the five road or street course races so far this season, specifically two of the three street course races, have featured six Honda drivers finishing in the top six. That was the case in the season opener on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, and it was the case once again in the first race of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit.

Three of the five road or street course races so far this season have been won by Honda drivers, and all three of those victories have come in the the three street course races. Of the 18 top six positions in the three street course races so far this season, Honda drivers have taken 17 of them.
Of the 25 top five positions in the five road or street course races so far this season, Honda drivers have taken 22 of them. The fact that Honda drivers have won just three of the five road or street course races so far this season is not reflective of the speed advantage that they have had in those races.
Following Honda’s dominance and Scott Dixon’s victory in the first race of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit, will Honda drivers continue to outpace the Chevrolet drivers on a regular basis in road and street course races to the point where their win percentage in those races continues to grow and their win percentage in street course races continues to sit at 100%? When, if ever, will a Honda driver win a road course race this year?
