NASCAR Cup Series: Matt Kenseth confirmed for 10 more races in 2018

Roush Fenway Racing have confirmed 10 more races for 2003 NASCAR Cup Series champion Matt Kenseth in the 2018 Cup Series season.
Matt Kenseth, who has driven in the last four NASCAR Cup Series races for Roush Fenway Racing in the #6 Ford, has been confirmed by the team for 10 of the remaining 21 races on the 2018 schedule.
Kenseth, the 46-year-old who drove full-time for Roush Racing/Roush Fenway Racing in the #17 Ford from his rookie season, the 2000 season, through the 2012 season, was replaced by Erik Jones in the #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota this season after he drove that car for the team from the 2013 season through the 2017 season.
Kenseth did not have a ride this season until Roush Fenway Racing confirmed that he would be driving in select races in the #6 Ford, which had been driven full-time by Trevor Bayne since the start of the 2015 season.

It was announced in April following the ninth race of the 36-race 2018 season that Kenseth and Bayne would share the driving duties of the #6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford throughout the remainder of the season.
Kenseth made his debut in the #6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford in the 12th race of the season at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas after Bayne drove it in each of the first 11 races of the season.
In four starts in the #6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford so far this season, Kenseth has finished three races. He recorded a season-high 13th place finish in the race at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. His average finish through four races so far this season is 24.75, and his average finish through the three races that he has actually finished so far this season is 21.00.
Kenseth is scheduled to drive in the following 10 races throughout the remainder of the 2018 Cup Series season.
