How do the 10 Formula 1 teams stack up against one another following the eighth race of the 2018 season, the French Grand Prix?

Eight of the 21 races on the 2018 Formula 1 schedule are in the books with the French Grand Prix having been completed last Sunday, meaning the 2018 season is now officially more than one-third of the way over.

With eight of the season’s 21 races having been completed, one fact continues to hold true, and it will likely continue to hold true throughout the rest of the season and into future seasons.

That fact is the fact that no teams other than Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport, Scuderia Ferrari or Aston Martin Red Bull Racing have won a race since the 2013 season opener, the Australian Grand Prix. Kimi Raikkonen, who drove for Lotus at that time, won that race.

Following Lewis Hamilton’s victory in the French Grand Prix at the 15-turn, 3.630-mile (5.842-kilometer) Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, Var, France, Mercedes have now won three races so far this season, and Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull Racing have combined to win the last 105 Formula 1 races.

So far this season, Ferrari have won three races and Red Bull Racing have won two to go along with the three victories of Mercedes, which have all been earned by Hamilton and have all been earned in the last five races. Ferrari’s three victories have all been earned by Sebastian Vettel, and Red Bull Racing’s victories have both been earned by Daniel Ricciardo.
