Formula 1: Team Power Rankings after 2018 British Grand Prix
By Asher Fair
How do the 10 Formula 1 teams stack up against one another now that 10 of the 21 races on the 2018 schedule have been completed?
Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel earned his fourth victory of the 2018 Formula 1 season in the season’s 10th race, which was the British Grand Prix. In doing so, he delivered Ferrari their fourth victory of the season as well, as the team’s other driver, Kimi Raikkonen, has not won a race yet this season.
Vettel’s victory in the 52-lap race around the 18-turn, 3.661-mile (5.891-kilometer) Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone (part Northamptonshire and part Buckinghamshire), England, United Kingdom helped Ferrari break the tie for first place on the 2018 wins list with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
Entering the 10th race of the 21-race 2018 season, each of those three teams had earned three victories so far this season. Ferrari were the first team to reach one win, two wins and three wins in 2018, and they became the first team to reach four wins as well thanks to Vettel’s first win at Silverstone Circuit since the 2009 season.

While Ferrari now have four victories so far this season, Red Bull Racing are still the only team that have had both of their drivers win at least one race. As referenced above, Raikkonen has yet to win a race this season for Ferrari, and Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas has also not yet won a race in 2018.
The win was also Ferrari’s first victory in the British Grand Prix since the 2011 season when Fernando Alonso was driving for the team and won it.
