Conclusion

Once again, there was a decent amount of movement toward the top of both the formulated Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings and the non-formulated Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings among the six drivers who drive for the sport’s top three teams.

More from Formula One

Kimi Raikkonen was the only driver of the sport’s top six drivers who held station in either set of rankings, and he did so in both sets of rankings despite the fact that his ranking in the formulated set of rankings is different than his ranking in the non-formulated set of rankings. He is ranked in third place in the formulated set and in fourth in the non-formulated set.

Below the sport’s top six drivers, there was also a lot of movement in both sets of rankings. Different drivers occupy each of the nine positions from seventh through 15th place in the formulated set of rankings, and different drivers occupy all but one position, ninth, from seventh through 15th in the non-formulated set.

Even though the 2018 season is more than halfway over, will this movement continue in both sets of rankings from race to race? Seeing as how it has continued on a regular basis up until now, it is very hard to imagine a race after which only a few drivers move around in either set of rankings.
