The 13th race of the 2018 IndyCar season, the Honda Indy 200, is scheduled to take place this Sunday. Here is the entry list for that race.
The Honda Indy 200 is the 13th race on the 17-race 2018 IndyCar schedule, and it is scheduled to take place this Sunday, July 29 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The race is the ninth of 11 road or street course races and the fourth of six road course races on this year’s schedule.
The race is scheduled to be a 90-lap race around the 13-turn, 2.258-mile (3.634-kilometer) Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. A total of 24 drivers are on the entry list for this race.
The driver total of 24 on this race’s entry list is one of the highest driver totals among all races that have been contested so far this season. In fact, only one race that has been contested so far this year has featured more than 24 drivers.

That race was the Indianapolis 500, which featured its traditional 33-driver field at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval in Speedway, Indiana. Only three other races have featured 24 drivers so far in the 2018 season.
Those three races were the season opener on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, the race on the streets of Long Beach, California and the race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in Speedway, Indiana. The last six races that have been held have featured either 22 or 23 drivers, so the field for this Sunday’s race is the largest that it has been in quite some time.
So far this season, 18 drivers (19 including James Hinchcliffe, who attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 but failed to do so) have driven in each of the 12 races that have been contested. All 19 of those drivers are set to compete in this Sunday’s Honda Indy 200, and there are five part-time drivers who are set to compete in the race as well.
Here is a list of the five part-time drivers who are scheduled to compete in the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this Sunday.
