Graham Rahal topped the speed chart in the third and final practice session for the 13th race of the 2018 IndyCar season, the Honda Indy 200.
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal topped the speed chart in the third and final practice session for the 13th of 17 races on the 2018 IndyCar schedule, the Honda Indy 200.
Rahal topped the speed chart in this practice session by recording a top lap time of 65.2067 seconds (124.662 miles per hour) around the 13-turn, 2.258-mile (3.634-kilometer) Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Team Penske’s three drivers were the fastest three Chevrolet drivers in the practice session. Josef Newgarden, Will Power and Simon Pagenaud finished the session in second, third and sixth place in their #1 Chevrolet, #12 Chevrolet and #22 Chevrolet, respectively.

Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi and Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon rounded out the top five in fourth and fifth place in their #27 Honda and #9 Honda, respectively.
Dale Coyne Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais, who topped the speed chart in the first practice session, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports rookie Robert Wickens, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Takuma Sato and Andretti Autosport rookie Zach Veach rounded out the top 10 in seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place in their #18 Honda, #6 Honda, #15 Honda and #26 Honda, respectively.
The fastest non-Team Penske Chevrolet driver in the practice session was Carlin Motorsport’s Max Chilton. Chilton finished the session in 12th place in his #59 Chevrolet. Andretti Autosport’s Ryan Hunter-Reay, who topped the speed chart in the second practice session, finished in 14th in his #28 Honda.
Qualifying for the race is scheduled to take place this afternoon at 1:35 p.m. ET, and it is scheduled to be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network starting at 1:30 p.m. ET. CNBC is scheduled to broadcast the race itself starting at 3:00 p.m. ET tomorrow, and the race is scheduled to begin shortly thereafter at 3:35 p.m. ET. NBC Sports Network is scheduled to air an encore of the race later that evening at 6:30 p.m. ET.
