The 22nd race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season, the Go Bowling at The Glen, is scheduled to take place this Sunday. Here is the entry list for this race.

Watkins Glen International is scheduled to play host to the 22nd race on the 36-race 2018 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, the Go Bowling at The Glen, and it is scheduled to do so this Sunday, August 5.

The Go Bowling at The Glen is scheduled to be a 90-lap race around the historic eight-turn, 2.454-mile (3.949-kilometer) Watkins Glen International road course in Watkins Glen, New York.

Defending Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. of Furniture Row Racing enters the race weekend as the defending winner of the race, as he won it last year in his #78 Toyota for his fourth victory of the season.

A total of 37 drivers are on the entry list for this race, making this entry list one of the lowest of the 2018 Cup Series season. Of the first 21 races of the season, just six featured 37 or fewer drivers.

Of those six races, five featured 37 drivers and one featured 36, so the driver total on the entry list for this Sunday’s race is tied for the second lowest of the season.

Five of those six races took place within the first seven races of the season, including the one that featured just 36 drivers, so the driver total on the entry list for this Sunday’s race is just the second driver total to be 37 drivers since the seventh race of the season.

Watkins Glen had not featured a Cup Series race with fewer than 38 drivers since the 1986 season until last season when 37 drivers competed in the race at the track. Prior to last year, 30 races in a row, one each season dating back to the 1987 season, had been held at the track with at least 38 drivers in the field.

Aside of the 30 full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers who have not missed a race yet this season, there are seven non-full-time drivers, including one who is making his Cup Series debut, who are scheduled to compete in the Go Bowling at The Glen.

Here is a list of those seven drivers who are set to compete in the race at Watkins Glen International this Sunday, August 5.
