IndyCar Team Power Rankings after 2018 ABC Supply 500
By Asher Fair
With three races remaining in the 2018 IndyCar season, how do the sport’s 10 full-time teams stack up against one another?
Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi secured Andretti Autosport their fourth victory of the 17-race 2018 IndyCar season by claiming his third victory of the season and his second consecutive victory the season’s 14th race, the ABC Supply 500, at Pocono Raceway.
Rossi’s dominant victory in the 200-lap race around the three-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Pocono Raceway triangle in Long Pond, Pennsylvania in his #27 Honda moved Andretti Autosport to within one victory of a tie for the lead in the wins category among all teams.
The team’s other victory so far this season came in the second race of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit on the streets of Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan. Ryan Hunter-Reay won that race for the team in his #28 Honda.
Team Penske, the only Chevrolet team with any victories since the 2016 season, still lead all teams in victories with five so far this season.

But with Andretti Autosport now having earned victories in the last two races and with Chip Ganassi Racing still lurking with three victories of their own, this lead may be in jeopardy in the near future with three races remaining on the 2018 schedule.
Team Penske leading the series in victories or at least being tied for the series lead in victories by the time the season ends for the fifth consecutive season is not a certainty at this point, especially since they have not won any of the last four races while Andretti Autosport and Chip Ganassi Racing have combined to win three of them.
How did Andretti Autosport’s fourth victory of the season affect the IndyCar Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated IndyCar Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated IndyCar Team Power Rankings following the action from Pocono Raceway.
