How do the 10 Formula 1 teams stack up against one another with eight races remaining on the 21-race 2018 schedule following the Belgian Grand Prix?
Four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel delivered Scuderia Ferrari their fifth victory of the 21-race 2018 Formula 1 season by dominating the Belgian Grand Prix at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, which tied them with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport for the most victories among all teams this season.
All five of Ferrari’s victories so far this season have been earned by Vettel, just as all five of Mercedes’ victories so far this season have been earned by four-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas have still not yet won a race in 2018.
The three races so far this season that have not been won by Ferrari or Mercedes were won by Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. Red Bull Racing are the only team that have had both of their drivers win at least one race this season. In fact, both of their current drivers have won at least one race in each of the last three seasons.

The last 110 Formula 1 races have now been won by a driver driving for either Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull Racing going back to the beginning of the 2013 season. Raikkonen’s victory in the 2013 Australian Grand Prix when he was in his second and final season driving for Lotus is the most recent victory by a non-Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull Racing driver.
The 44-lap race around the 19-turn, 4.352-mile (7.004-kilometer) Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps road course in Stavelot, Belgium was the first race all season long that Ferrari entered while trailing Mercedes, or any team for that matter, in the wins category.
Ferrari were the first team to secure their first, second, third and fourth victories of the season, but Hamilton’s victory in the final race before the summer break, the Hungarian Grand Prix, in late July made Mercedes the first team to secure their fifth victory this year.
Now Ferrari are tied with Mercedes atop the wins list once again heading into their home race, the Italian Grand Prix, as they look to shoot back up into the lead for the first time since Vettel earned their fourth victory of the season in the British Grand Prix in early July.
