IndyCar Team Road/Street Power Rankings after 2018 Grand Prix of Portland

Of the 11 road or street course races on the 2018 IndyCar schedule, 10 are in the books. How do the sport’s teams rank against one another in these races?

In the penultimate road or street course race of the 17-race 2018 IndyCar season, the Grand Prix of Portland, at Portland International Raceway, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing became the fifth team to secure a road or street course race victory of the season.

Takuma Sato delivered Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing their first road or street course race victory of the season by winning the 105-lap race around the 12-turn, 1.967-mile (3.166-kilometer) Portland International Raceway road course in Portland, Oregon after starting all the way back on the outside of the 10th row in 20th place.

Heading into this race, four teams had earned at least one road or street course race victory through the season’s first nine road or street course races. Those teams were Andretti Autosport, Team Penske, Chip Ganassi Racing and Dale Coyne Racing.

Andretti Autosport and Team Penske had both earned three road or street course race victories coming in the Grand Prix of Portland while Chip Ganassi Racing had earned two and Dale Coyne Racing had earned one.

Andretti Autosport, Team Penske and Chip Ganassi Racing had combined to win each of the last eight road or street course races. Each of these teams had won one of the last three and two of the last six road or street course races.
