The NASCAR Cup Series is one step closer to crowning the 2018 champion! How do the eight round of 8 drivers stack up against one another?

Howdy, NASCAR fans! After stepping away for a few days, I’m ready to come at you with some more great NASCAR Cup Series content!

After an action-packed Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, four more drivers have packed their playoff bags and are headed home! With two playoff rounds down, eight drivers still hold the keys to their championship potential. The eight drivers left are Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Joey Logano, Chase Elliott and Aric Almirola.

Those left on the outside were 2012 champion Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson, Alex Bowman and Ryan Blaney.

As the series continues on the path to the 2018 championship, drivers shift their focus to Martinsville Speedway! Everyone remembers last year’s drama with Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin, but who knows what could unfold when the dust settles at the half-mile short track this weekend?

With four races left in the 2018 season, including three to determine the four drivers who will compete in the Championship 4, I’m here to tell you who’s hitting a high note and who needs to re-energize to compete for the championship. Join me as I rank the final eight drivers battling for the 2018 title! It doesn’t get any more serious than this, so let’s get to it!
