One race remains on the 2018 Formula 1 schedule after the Brazilian Grand Prix. How do the sport’s 10 teams rank against one another heading into this race?
Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton earned an unlikely victory in the penultimate race of the 21-race 2018 Formula 1 season, the Brazilian Grand Prix, at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace.
Hamilton held on to win the race after Racing Point Force India’s Esteban Ocon spun out then race leader Max Verstappen of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, who appeared to be well on his way to his second consecutive victory.
Hamilton’s victory in the 71-lap race around the 15-turn, 2.677-mile (4.309-kilometer) Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace road course in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which was his series-leading 10th of the season, was also Mercedes’ 10th victory of the season.

Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas has still not won a race this season, as he earned his most recent victory in last year’s season finale, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
While Mercedes are the only one of the top three teams, which are Mercedes, Scuderia Ferrari and Red Bull Racing, that have not had both of their drivers win at least one race this season, they do lead the series in victories by a wide margin. Ferrari have won six races so far this season while Red Bull Racing have won four. These three teams have combined to win each of the 20 races that have been contested so far this season. In fact, they have combined to win each of the last 117 races going back to the 2013 season.
How did Mercedes’ 10th victory of the season and the rest of the action from the Brazilian Grand Prix affect the Formula 1 Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated Formula 1 Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated Formula 1 Team Power Rankings following the penultimate race of the season.
