How do the 16 NASCAR Cup Series teams with at least one full-time driver stack up against one another with the 2019 season scheduled to get underway next weekend?

The 61st annual Daytona 500 is scheduled to get the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season underway next weekend upon the conclusion of a three-month offseason.

Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida is set to play host to this race, which is the first of 36 races on the 2019 schedule. This race is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 17.

Slightly after the year 2018 ended and the year 2019 began, we published our Way-too-early Driver Power Rankings for the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season, which is scheduled to last until mid-November.

In the article with these power rankings, we analyzed each of the 17 teams in the sport that were projected to have at least one full-time driver who is set to compete in the 2019 season, and we ranked them against their competitors.

These power rankings were released more than one month ago, but the same offseason that was in progress at that time is still in progress right now. As a result, the Preseason Team Power Rankings contain just a simple list of rankings as opposed to a full-length slideshow with an in-depth analysis for each team.

If you are interested in reading an in-depth analysis for each of the 17 projected teams that have at least one full-time driver who is set to compete in the 2019 season, here is a link to the Way-too-early Team Power Rankings for the 2019 season.

From the time the Way-too-early Team Power Rankings were released until now, the only change these particular power rankings is the fact that Spire Sports + Entertainment (Spire Motorsports) have been removed since they are not set to have a full-time driver in the 2019 season.

Spire Motorsports were ranked at #14 in the Way-too-early Team Power Rankings ahead of Go Fas Racing, StarCom Racing and Obaika Racing.

Premium Motorsports are also set to have Ross Chastain as their full-time driver in the 2019 season, but he will not be eligible to earn points as a result of the fact that he is set to drive full-time and earn points in the Xfinity Series this season. As a result, they have not been included in these rankings.

Here are the Preseason NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings for the 2019 season. This is how these rankings are set to look as the season gets underway.
