The starting lineup for the 2019 preseason NASCAR Cup Series exhibition race, the Advance Auto Parts Clash, is set. Who will start in what position?
Following a random draw, the starting lineup for the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series preseason exhibition race at Daytona International Speedway, the Advance Auto Parts Clash, has been set.
Wood Brothers Racing’s Paul Menard is set to start the 75-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) high-banked Daytona International Speedway oval in Daytona Beach, Florida from the pole position in his #21 Ford.
Menard is set to start the race alongside Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch, who is set to start it in second place in his #18 Toyota.

Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski, Roush Fenway Racing’s Ryan Newman and Hendrick Motorsports’ Alex Bowman are set to round out the top five by starting in third, fourth and fifth place in their #2 Ford, #6 Ford and #88 Chevrolet, respectively.
Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick, Team Penske teammates Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney, Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Dillon and Stewart-Haas Racing’s Daniel Suarez are set to round out the top 10 by starting in sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place, in their #4 Ford, #22 Ford, #12 Ford, #3 Chevrolet and #41 Ford, respectively.
A total of 20 drivers are set to compete in this race. They are eligible to do so for a variety of different reasons, which you can read more about here.
This 75-lap race is split into two stages. The first stage is a 25-lap stage, and the second stage is a 50-lap stage.
