Kyle Busch has competed in a total of 10 NASCAR races so far in the 2019 season. He has not lost consecutive races this year.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch is not only well-known as one of the top drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series but as the Cup Series driver who spends by far the most time competing in the Xfinity Series and Truck Series.

Entering the sixth week of competition in the 2019 NASCAR season, Busch has already competed in 10 races this year. In addition to the five Cup Series races that have been held, five Xfinity Series races and three Truck Series races have been held.

The 33-year-old Las Vegas, Nevada native has competed in all five Cup Series races as well as three Xfinity Series races and two Truck Series races so far this season. He has earned two victories in each of these three series in 2019.

In 10 races, Busch has earned six victories, and he has not finished any of these 10 races in lower than sixth place. In fact, his sixth place finish in the second race of the Cup Series season at Atlanta Motor Speedway is his only non-top three finish of the season. His average finish so far this season is an impressive 1.90.

But perhaps even more impressive is the fact that across the Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series, Busch has not lost consecutive races despite the fact that he has already competed in 10 of them and the 2019 season is more than one month old.

Busch got his season underway with a second place finish in the Cup Series season opener, the Daytona 500, at Daytona International Speedway. He responded to that performance by earning his first Truck Series victory of the year at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which he followed up with a sixth place finish in the Cup Series race at the track.

Following his season-low sixth place finish, Busch won the Truck Series and Xfinity Series races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway before finishing in third in the Cup Series race at the track. He “bounced back” from his second lowest finish of the season by winning both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series races at ISM Raceway.

Busch then went on to finish in a “below average” second place in the Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway, but he bounced back by winning the Cup Series race at the track.

With Busch set to compete in both the Truck Series and Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway this weekend, his streak of not losing consecutive races will be on the line in tomorrow’s Cup Series race if he fails to win today’s Truck Series race.

If Busch wins either one of these two races this weekend, his streak will be on the line next weekend, as he is set to compete in the Truck Series, Xfinity Series and Cup Series races at Texas Motor Speedway.

Following next weekend, Busch is set to compete in the remaining 29 races on the 2019 Cup Series schedule as well as three more Xfinity Series races and one more Truck Series race this year. He is set to compete in the Xfinity Series races at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, August 16 and at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 7, and he is set to compete in the Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, May 17.
