The fourth race on the 17-race 2019 IndyCar schedule, the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, is scheduled to take place this Sunday, April 14 on the streets of Long Beach, California. The 2019 season marks the 45th overall season and 45th consecutive season with a race at this historic venue.

A total of 23 drivers are set to compete in this 85-lap race around the 11-turn, 1.968-mile (3.167-kilometer) temporary street circuit in Long Beach, California, marking the lowest driver total on an entry list so far this season.

Each of the season’s first three races, including the season opener on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, the second race at Circuit of the Americas and the third race at Barber Motorsports Park, featured 24 drivers.

All 23 of the drivers who are on the entry list for this Sunday’s race have competed in at least two of the season’s first three races. In fact, only one of them, Carlin rookie Patricio O’Ward, hasn’t competed in each of the season’s first three races, as he missed the season opener.

Of the 22 drivers who are set to compete in this race having competed in each of the season’s first three races, 20 are full-time drivers while two are part-time drivers. The two part-time drivers are Ed Carpenter Racing’s Ed Jones and Meyer Shank Racing’s Jack Harvey.
