Kyle Busch has not gone on a streak of more than eight days without winning a NASCAR race in the Cup Series, Xfinity Series or Truck Series yet in the 2019 season.

Kyle Busch got his 2019 NASCAR season underway on Sunday, February 17 by driving the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in the 61st annual Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, a race he finished in second place behind teammate Denny Hamlin.

In total, Busch has competed in 16 races across the Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series so far this season. He has won a whopping 10 of these races, including three Cup Series races, three Xfinity Series races and four Truck Series races.

Perhaps even more notably, he has not gone more than eight days without winning a race all season.

More from NASCAR

Six days after finishing in second place in the Daytona 500, Busch won the Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. One week later, he won the Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and he won the Xfinity Series race at the track the next day.

One week later, the 33-year-old Las Vegas, Nevada native found himself back in victory lane after winning the Xfinity Series race at ISM Raceway. The following day, he won the Cup Series race at the track.

One week later, Busch found himself back in victory lane once more after winning the Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway. Only six days later, he won the Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway. One week after that, he won the Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, and the following day, he won the Xfinity Series race at the track.

Busch then went a season-high eight days before winning again, but he ended this “lengthy” win drought by winning the Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, which was contested six days ago now.

That takes us to today, Saturday, April 13.

Whether or not he ends the six-day win drought that he is currently by winning tonight’s race, the Toyota Owners 400, at Richmond Raceway will not change the fact that Easter is next Sunday and therefore he will enter his next scheduled NASCAR race, the Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, on Sunday, April 28 with a win drought of at least 15 days.

But let’s be real here; no one is going to hold not winning on Easter against him, not even his biggest haters.

Will Busch enter Easter break having earned his 11th victory in 17 Cup Series races (and his fourth victory in nine Cup Series races) this season and having ended his current “win drought”? With him having won both races at Richmond Raceway last year after starting in 32nd place or worse in both of them, don’t rule it out. He is set to start tonight’s race in fifth.
