Following Team Penske’s series-high fifth victory of the 2019 IndyCar season in the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway, how do the IndyCar Team Power Rankings look?

By winning the 2019 IndyCar season’s ninth race, the DXC Technology 600, at Texas Motor Speedway, Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden how now earned a season-high three victories so far this season and two victories in the last three races.

Additionally, Newgarden took Team Penske to victory lane for the fourth time in the last five races going back to the race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in mid-May that teammate Simon Pagenaud won.

Newgarden’s victory in the 248-lap race around the four-turn, 1.44-mile (2.317-kilometer) high-banked Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas was Team Penske’s series-high fifth victory of the season. Pagenaud has earned two victories for the team so far this season while Will Power is still searching for what would be his first.

Team Penske have either held the top spot on the wins list or been tied atop the wins list after each of the season’s first nine races. Now they have earned five times as many victories as the four teams tied behind them in second place on this list with one victory.

Harding Steinbrenner Racing, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Andretti Autosport and Chip Ganassi Racing, all Honda teams, unlike the Chevrolet-powered Team Penske, have each won one race this season.

How did Team Penske’s fifth victory in the 2019 season and their fourth victory in the last five races affect the IndyCar Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated IndyCar Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated IndyCar Team Power Rankings following the DXC Technology 600.
