Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel rounded out the top five by finishing in fourth and fifth place, respectively, making the top five in this race the exact same as the top five in the season’s second race, the Bahrain Grand Prix. Hamilton, Bottas, Leclerc and Verstappen all started where they finished.

McLaren’s Carlos Sainz Jr., Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo, Alfa Romeo Racing’s Kimi Raikkonen, Renault’s Nico Hulkenberg and McLaren rookie Lando Norris rounded out the top 10 by finishing in sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place, respectively.

Hamilton was the only leader of this race, marking the fourth time that he has led each and every lap of a race this season. He has now pulled this off in four of the last six races and four of his last five victories.

Of the 20 drivers who started this race, 19 finished it, as Rich Energy Haas’ Romain Grosjean was the only driver who failed to do so. A total of six drivers finished this race on the lead lap.
