How do Formula 1’s 10 teams stack up against one another in the Formula 1 Team Power Rankings following a rather dull French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard?
Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton dominated in the French Grand Prix, the eighth of 21 races on the 2019 Formula 1 schedule, giving him six victories through the first eight races of the season.
Hamilton’s dominant victory in this 53-lap race around the 15-turn, 3.63-mile (5.842-kilometer) Circuit Paul Ricard road course in Le Castellet, France was Mercedes’ eighth victory in the season’s first eight races and their 10th consecutive victory going back to last season.
Hamilton has been responsible for eight of these 10 victories while Valtteri Bottas has been responsible for the other two. Bottas won two of the 2019 season’s first four races, including the season-opening Australian Grand Prix and the season’s fourth race, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

The current 10-race winning streak of the Silver Arrows is tied for their longest winning streak of the V6 turbo hybrid era, which began back in the 2014 season.
They went on a 10-race winning streak from the 2015 season to the 2016 season (six consecutive victories to end the former, four consecutive victories to begin the latter) and another 10-race winning streak during the 2016 season itself.
