One race shy of the halfway mark of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season, how do the sport’s 14 full-time teams stack up against one another?

Hendrick Motorsports’ Alex Bowman earned his first victory of the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season and the first victory of his Cup Series career by holding off Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson late in the season’s 17th race at Chicagoland Speedway, the Camping World 400.

Bowman’s victory in this 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Chicagoland Speedway oval in Joliet, Illinois was Hendrick Motorsports’ second victory of the season. They earned their first victory of the season back in late April when Chase Elliott won the race at Talladega Superspeedway.

This victory was Hendrick Motorsports’ first victory by a driver other than Elliott since Kasey Kahne won the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway back in July of 2017.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

This victory was also just the second victory of the season by a team other than Joe Gibbs Racing or Team Penske, as only three teams have won any of the season’s first 17 races.

Joe Gibbs Racing have won a series-high 10 races so far this season while Team Penske have won five.

How did Hendrick Motorsports’ second victory of the 2019 season affect the NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings following the Camping World 400.
