IndyCar: Felix Rosenqvist tops final 2019 Laguna Seca practice

Felix Rosenqvist topped the speed chart in the third and final practice session for the 2019 IndyCar season finale at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.
Chip Ganassi Racing rookie Felix Rosenqvist topped the speed chart in the third and final practice session leading up to the 17th and final race on the 2019 IndyCar schedule, the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey, at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Rosenqvist topped the speed chart in the third and final practice session for this 90-lap race by recording a top lap time of 70.4065 seconds (114.4326 miles per hour) around the 11-turn, 2.238-mile (3.602-kilometer) WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca natural terrain road course in Monterey, California in his #10 Honda.
Team Penske teammates Josef Newgarden, Will Power and Simon Pagenaud, of whom Newgarden and Pagenaud are two of the four championship contenders, rounded out the top four by finishing in second, third and fourth place in their #2 Chevrolet, #12 Chevrolet and #22 Chevrolet.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Takuma Sato finished in fifth place in his #30 Honda ahead of the fastest non-Team Penske Chevrolet driver, Carlin’s Max Chilton, in sixth in his #59 Chevrolet.
Harding Steinbrenner Racing rookie Colton Herta finished in seventh place in his #88 Honda ahead of championship contender Scott Dixon of Chip Ganassi Racing in eighth in his #9 Honda. Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal finished in ninth in his #15 Honda ahead of championship contender Alexander Rossi of Andretti Autosport in 10th in his #27 Honda.
