Six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady offered high praise of soon-to-be six-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton ahead of the latter’s potential title-clinching race.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Valtteri Bottas can still sneak away with the 2019 Formula 1 world championship.

If about 7,233,214,642,346 other things happen — in a set order.

His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, is well on his way to becoming Formula 1’s second ever six-time champion and the first since the lone seven-time champion, Michael Schumacher, was crowned for the sixth time back in 2003 to break the tie atop the all-time titles list with five-time champion Juan Manuel Fangio.

The NFL’s lone six-time Super Bowl champion, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, offered high praise of Hamilton, who has about a 99.999% chance of securing his sixth career world championship in this Sunday afternoon’s United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas.

Should he secure this title, it would be his third consecutive title and his fifth in the six seasons of the V6 turbo hybrid era, which began back in 2014. Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg is the only driver other than Hamilton to win a championship during these six seasons, beating Hamilton by just five points to win it back in 2016.

Here is what Brady, who was ironically asked about the matter in a Patriots press conference, had to say in the form of praise toward Hamilton, according to ESPN.

"“I’ve followed him for a little bit. I’ve kind of gone to a few of those races and those guys are super talented. I think it’s tough to stay at the top, and talking to guys that know him and that race against him, he just sees things differently than everyone else.“So, I think that’s what makes him so exceptional. I think it’s a lot like that for football players too is, you know, you take people that kind of all do the same thing, but then someone always sees it a different way. The uniqueness, and then the competitiveness, and then the competitive stamina help you stay on top.”"

Hamilton has won 83 races over the course of his career, second only to Schumacher’s mark of 91, a mark he should break next year considering the fact that he has won at least nine races in each of the last six seasons.
