The 2010s decade of IndyCar competition came to an end a few months ago. Who topped the decade in victories, and how many drivers found victory lane?

Harding Steinbrenner Racing’s Colton Herta closed out the 2010s decade of IndyCar competition with a victory in the 2019 season finale at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca while Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden secured his second career championship in this race.

This 90-lap Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey around the 11-turn, 2.238-mile (3.602-kilometer) WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca natural terrain road course in Monterey, California was the 169th and final race of the decade, a decade that began with Will Power winning the Sao Paulo Indy 300 on the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil in March of 2010.

How many different drivers won a race throughout the decade, and who drove to victory lane the most?

More from IndyCar

In total, 24 different drivers won a IndyCar race at some point in from 2010 to 2019, with 18 of these 24 drivers driving to victory lane multiple times.

It was Will Power who collected the most victories.

Even if you completely discount his eight victories in the three most recent seasons, this would still be the case, as the next closest driver, who was the only driver to finish the decade with even half of Power’s win total, finished nine victories behind him.
