Matt DiBenedetto
The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season is set to see Matt DiBenedetto in his third different ride in three years. After driving for Go Fas Racing in the 2018 season and Leavine Family Racing in the 2019 season, he is slated to compete behind the wheel of the famous #21 Ford for Wood Brothers Racing.

In the 2019 season, DiBenedetto was able to show that he can run up front if he has the right equipment. He was able to score seven top 10 finishes and three top five finishes, including a career-high second place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway when he led with 12 laps to go before Denny Hamlin passed him for the win.
Before last season, DiBenedetto had never finished in the top five. In fact, he had only recorded a combined four top 10 finishes in 140 career starts. So things are pointing towards him having success at his new team, which are technically aligned with Team Penske.
Wood Brothers Racing currently sit at 99 wins as a team. Their most recent win came in June of 2017 at Pocono Raceway when Ryan Blaney was able to pass Kyle Busch and hold off Kevin Harvick off for his first career win. DiBenedetto has been tapped as the driver to come in and get that 100th win for the historic organization.
Some tracks at which Matt DiBenedetto should be very competitive throughout the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season are the superspeedways and Bristol Motor Speedway. He dominated the Daytona 500 last year before he was involved in a late wreck, and he was closer to winning at Bristol Motor Speedway than he had ever been at any track before.
