NASCAR: Who is on the move after 20 laps at Daytona?
By Asher Fair
After the first 20 laps of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season-opening Daytona 500, who has been on the move at Daytona International Speedway?
The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season almost officially got underway on Sunday, February 16, but rain throughout the day ultimately led to the postponement of the 62nd annual Daytona 500 after just 20 laps had been contested.
While the cars were only racing for a handful of minutes on Sunday and a lot of the running was done in a single-file line following the first few laps, there was still quite a lot of movement throughout the 40-car field.
JTG Daugherty Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. led the first 20 laps of the 200-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) high-banked superspeedway oval in Daytona Beach, Florida after starting from the pole position in his first race behind the wheel of the #47 Chevrolet.

But behind him, there were quite a few changes.
Only two of the other 39 drivers in the field did not move up or down the order from the drop of the green flag.
