By Asher Fair
With the 2020 IndyCar season scheduled to get underway in just over two weeks, how does the full-time driver lineup look?
The offseason between the 2019 and 2020 IndyCar season has surpassed the five-month mark, and the 17-race 2020 campaign is scheduled to get underway in just over two weeks.
The Firestone Grand Prix is scheduled to open up the season on Sunday, March 15. But before action commences around the 14-turn, 1.8-mile (2.897-kilometer) temporary street circuit on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida with opening practice on Friday, March 13, let’s take a glance at what the driver lineup looks like.
There are still a few open seats remaining in the 2020 lineup, as there are 24 confirmed full-time entries among 10 teams for the upcoming season, but the full-time driver lineup may very well be set with only 20 competitors among nine teams.
Here is a look at what has been confirmed about the full-time driver lineup for the 2020 season.

Daly has been confirmed as the full-time road and street course driver for Ed Carpenter Racing behind the wheel of the #20 Chevrolet, which team owner Ed Carpenter is set to drive in the oval races. Daly is also set to compete for the team in the Indy 500 piloting a third entry.

Max Chilton has been confirmed at Carlin in a similar deal, one in which he is slated to drive the #59 Chevrolet in the 12 road and street course races and in the Indy 500.
But there are rumors that Daly could drive the #59 Chevrolet in the other four oval races, which would give him a complete 17-race schedule at two teams and make him the 21st full-time driver.
The two other confirmed full-time entries aside of the #20 Chevrolet and the #59 Chevrolet are the #14 A.J. Foyt Enterprises Chevrolet and the #31 Carlin Chevrolet.
Tony Kanaan has been confirmed as the driver of the #14 Chevrolet for the five oval races while Dalton Kellett and Sebastien Bourdais are set to compete in eight and four road and street course races, respectively. Kellett is set to drive a third entry for the team in the Indy 500.
As for the #31 Chevrolet, it appears as though Sergio Sette Camara and Felipe Nasr will share time behind the wheel, but this is has not been confirmed by the team.
