IndyCar: 3 tracks where Jimmie Johnson could make his debut

Jimmie Johnson IndyCar debut: Circuit of the Americas
Since the 2015 season, Barber Motorsports Park has only not been the first road course race on the IndyCar schedule on one occasion. That one occasion was in 2019, when that distinction belonged to Circuit of the Americas.
Circuit of the Americas hosted its inaugural IndyCar race last year, and it had been slated to host another one in late April of this year, but like the race at Barber Motorsports Park, it was canceled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, also like the race at Barber Motorsports Park, it is slated to return to the schedule next year, likely early on in the season. Jimmie Johnson attended this year’s preseason testing at the 20-turn, 3.427-mile (5.515-kilometer) natural terrain road course in Austin, Texas as a guest of McLaren.
Perhaps the next time the series visits the track, he will be in attendance in a more official capacity, whether that be in preseason testing next year as an ex-NASCAR driver or during next year’s race there.
If Jimmie Johnson competes in IndyCar, at which track will he strap in for the first time? Will that take place at Barber Motorsports Park, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course or Circuit of the Americas?
