Justin Haley is set to return to Kaulig Racing for the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, which is slated to be his third full season in the series.

Amid a successful 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season that sees him poised for a potential Championship 4 run, Justin Haley has been confirmed by Kaulig Racing for a third year behind the wheel of the #11 Chevrolet next year.

This marks Kaulig Racing’s first driver confirmation next year, with Ross Chastain set to leave the team for the Cup Series to drive the #42 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing.

Here is what Haley had to say about the matter in a team release.

"“I’d first like to thank LeafFilter Gutter Protection, Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice and everyone at Kaulig Racing for an amazing partnership the past two years. We’ve grown as a team, an organization, and most importantly, as a family. I feel super blessed to have gotten the call from Kaulig Racing after my second win at Talladega that they wanted me back in 2021. They have believed in me since Day 1, and have stuck with me through the highs and lows. I’m extremely humbled to keep this strong partnership going into 2021 and continue trophy hunting!”"

Here is what team owner Matt Kaulig had to say.

"“To have Justin Haley come back for a third year with us is beyond amazing for our team. Everyone at Kaulig Racing loves Justin, and it is safe to say he has become an integral part of our family. Justin has only helped our program grow, and the proof is in the stats! I’m looking forward to many more wins and trophies with Justin in 2021.”"

Here is what Kaulig Racing president Chris Rice had to add.

"“Having Justin Haley return to Kaulig Racing for the 2021 season is truly special to me. I had my eye on Justin for a while before he came to Kaulig Racing and knew there was something special about this kid. I was able to be a part of handpicking him for the No. 11 car, and there has not been one day that I have regretted that decision. I know he will do big things in 2021 for Kaulig Racing.”"

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Haley finished in 12th place in the championship standings in his rookie Xfinity Series season last year with four top five finishes, 20 top 10 finishes, 17 laps led and an average finish of 12.3 in 33 races.

Through 30 races in a season that has seen both Haley and Kaulig Racing make some huge strides toward becoming one of the top teams, he has been victorious three times with 10 top five finishes, 19 top 10 finishes, 110 laps led and an average finish of 10.4

Haley recently became just the third driver in Xfinity Series history to win at least three consecutive superspeedway races when he won at Talladega Superspeedway in early October. The only other two drivers who have done that are Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
