With just one month to go until the 105th running of the Indy 500, take a look at the updated entry list for IndyCar’s greatest race.

For the first time since the 2019 IndyCar season, as hard as that may to believe, the Indy 500 is scheduled to take place in May — provided we don’t get two days of rain delays to push it back to its first ever June date. And May is now just one day away.

The shortest time between two Indy 500 races has almost come to an end, as the 105th running of the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is scheduled to go green one month from today on Sunday, May 30.

With just over two weeks to go until the start of practice for this race and just over three weeks to go until qualifying, a total of 33 drivers and 34 entries have been confirmed.

So this year’s Indy 500 is slated to end up being the first since the 103rd running back in 2019 to see bumping.

More from IndyCar

There are still at least two other likely entries which have not yet been confirmed for this 200-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) oval in Speedway, Indiana, which would bring the entry list total to at least 36. Only 33 cars are permitted to fill the 11 rows of three on the starting grid.

In 2019, there were 36 drivers who attempted to qualify for the race, and three were left on the outside looking in. Last year, there were exactly 33 drivers who attempted to compete in the race, and all got the opportunity to do so.

With just over one month to go until the 105th running of the Indy 500, here is a list of the 33 drivers who have been confirmed for this race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway thus far.
