Follow along with our live updates of IndyCar’s Bump Day qualifying session for the 105th running of the Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

All 35 IndyCar drivers on the entry list for the 105th running of the Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway completed at least one four-lap qualifying run in yesterday’s qualifying session.

Of those 35 drivers, 21 don’t have to worry about making any more qualifying attempts today and are locked into their starting positions following yesterday’s session.

But while nine of the remaining 14 are slated to battle for the pole position in the Fast Nine Shootout later this afternoon, the other five still aren’t even guaranteed to compete in next Sunday’s 200-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) oval in Speedway, Indiana.

These five drivers, who officially finished yesterday’s session from 31st through 35th place, are each slated to make at least one more qualifying run to attempt to qualify on the 11th and final row of the starting grid.

Three of these five drivers will have success in doing so, but two will ultimately fail to qualify for the field of 33 and be forced to watch the race as opposed to compete in it. We have not seen bumping for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” since three of the 36 drivers who attempted to qualify for the race in 2019 failed to do so.

So which of these three drivers will end up starting from 31st through 33rd place, and who will be left on the outside looking in? Follow along with our live qualifying updates of the Bump Day qualifying session for the 105th running of the Indy 500 to find out.
