The all-new and long-awaited Peacock documentary CHASE on reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott is now available to stream on Peacock.

In CHASE, which is produced by NBC Sports and NASCAR Productions, Elliott explores his roots, passions and love for racing with his parents, including NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott, friends, colleagues, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., the man from whom he inherited the “Most Popular Driver” title after the 2017 season.

We spoke to Elliott ahead of the documentary’s release about how the idea originated.

“I feel like it came through NBC,” Elliott told Beyond the Flag. “NBC is a major broadcast partner on the NASCAR side, they cover the second half of our season. So I think the thought originated with them and being able to do something a little different and also have some fun with Dale coming and visiting Dawsonville.”

He also had this to say in a release.

"“I enjoyed having Dale down in the North Georgia/Dawsonville area. I got to show him a little bit of my day-to-day life and some of the things that I do. We talked a lot about racing and my career, which I really enjoyed. I’m looking forward to everyone having the chance to watch and enjoy it.”"

Rick Cordella, Peacock’s executive vice president and chief revenue officer, had this to add.
