Dale Jr. looks to conquer ‘Dega once again

After the reality of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s retirement announcement set in, the first thing Jr. Nation did was wonder if the 88 would win again before his career ended. Every fan has Talladega circled on their calendars. Dale Jr. has won at Talladega six times in his career, more than any other track on his resume.

His father, Dale Earnhardt, won at Talladega ten times in his career. It is a known fact that Earnhartdts love this track. Dale Jr. last won here in the spring of 2015, which led to two more wins throughout that season. He also finished second in the fall of 2015 at Talladega.

Fans and Junior alike both hope Talladega can have a similar impact on this season, which will be his last. NASCAR will do a fantastic job of making this last season special for Dale Jr., but he can really help himself enjoy the final ride with at least one last win. No better time than now for Jr.
