NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Talladega

Gordon has literally done everything this season but win a race. In nine races he has seven top-10 finishes. His worst finish of the year is 13th and he has finished 2nd in two of the last three races, both of which were won by Logano. Gordon has led the points for three weeks in a row now and is running the best that he has run since 2009. The drive for five might very well be underway if he can win a race somewhere along the lines. Then again, if he keeps running like this he will most likely make the chase without a win. Oh, he is also in a new Sprint commercial with a hamster and a giant lug nut.
