NASCAR: Who’s Hot and Who’s Not Heading Into All-Star Race

HOT – Kevin Harvick

Kevin Harvick needed one more lap and he most likely would have won his third race of the season. Harvick has been freaky fast all year, pun intended. Harvick ran into a bunch of bad luck earlier this season which led to some finishes outside of the top-30. Since then Harvick has been able to avoid the bad luck and has remained fast on the track. He could easily win a few more races before the chase begins this year. The move to SHR has been a good one for Harvick and company. The No. 4 machine has without question been the anchor of that team through 11 races. This week there have also been reports of how his relationship with Danica Patrick is impacting her on-track performance. If he can continue his success and continue to elevate those around him, his time with SHR will only get better.
