NASCAR Nationwide Series at Iowa Speedway: entry list
As the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series stay near home to race at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, the Nationwide Series heads to Iowa Speedway for a rare Sunday afternoon race — the Get To Know Newton 250. With the Sprint Cup Series at Charlotte and the Nationwide Series at Iowa, the entry list for Sunday’s Nationwide Series lacks the Sprint Cup names normally seen in Nationwide races that are companions to Sprint Cup events. Still, there are some drivers racing in both cities, including Camping World Truck Series regular Ryan Blaney, who plans to make the trip to Iowa to drive the No. 22 Team Penske entry. Ryan Ellis also plans to run the Truck Series race in Charlotte Friday night before heading to Iowa for Sunday’s Nationwide contest.
There are 41 drivers on the entry list for the Get to Know Iowa 250, so one driver will end up on the outside looking in after qualifying on Saturday night. Here’s the entry list (courtesy of NASCAR statistical services):
