NASCAR: Who’s Hot and Who’s Not Heading Into Charlotte

HOT – Jamie McMurray

2014 has been a slow start for Jamie McMurray and the No. 1 team. In 11 starts this season McMurray has only finished inside of the top-10 twice and of those his best finish was sixth. Heading into the Sprint All-Star Race McMurray was coming off of consecutive finishes outside of the top-20. Luckily for McMurray, he was able to turn his fortunes around when there was a $1 million payday on the line by winning the 2014 Sprint All-Star Race. Although the win was nice he now needs to hope that this will be able to jump start his season and lead to some better finishes. The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup season is all about winning and if he can repeat this weekend in Charlotte, McMurray could be well be heading to the chase.
