NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Pocono
Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports
HOT – Paul Menard
Paul Menard has had an under-the-radar type of 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season thus far, that is until the last two races. Menard has had consecutive top-10 finishes the past two weeks at Charlotte and Dover. Menard might not be considered a contender to make the chase and for fair reasons. However, if he continues to find a way to run near the top-10 anything could happen and he very well could win a race this season. Not only has Menard had consecutive top-10 finishes, but in both of those races he was also running inside of the top-five at times. If these last two weeks are any indication, Menard and company might be onto something and could be worth keeping an eye on this week in Pocono. Menard now has seven top-10 finishes through 13 races.
