For as bad as the day was for car owner Tony Stewart, it was that much better for Kurt Busch. Busch ran in the top-five for only the third time this season. His three top-five finishes are also the only times that he has finished in the top-10 as well. The nice finish was also a nice point’s boost for the driver of the No. 41 machine who currently sits 27th in the points. Busch needs to maintain a spot inside of the top-30 in order for his win earlier this season to get him into the chase. After the race Busch seem relieved and motivated when he talked about “building momentum” for the rest of the season.
