HOT – Paul Menard

Paul Menard and his team have just kept the momentum flowing. Sonoma was the second consecutive top-five finish for Menard and his third top-five on the season. Menard has run inside of the top-10 in five of his last six races. This recent streak of consistency has helped move Menard into the 12th position in the point’s standings. If the chase were to begin today, Menard and his team would be in. This weekend Menard will be looking to keep the momentum going at Kentucky Speedway. This weeks race could present a challenge for Menard though as he has never run particularly well at Kentucky. In his three previous starts at the track Menard has only finished on the lead lap once and has an average finishing position of 22nd. Luckily for Menard, momentum goes a long way and right now his team has plenty of it.
