NASCAR: Looking Ahead At The 2015 Potential Free Agents

No. 13 Casey Mears
Casey Mears is part of a single-driver team. While Mears hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire in 2014, he does have a couple of top-10 finishes and seven top-15 finishes.
It’s hard to predict that Mears would not be extended to come back to his team in 2016. When it comes to these smaller operations you tend to find more loyalty. It also helps that Mears has been decent in 2014. What the fate of Mears might come down too is whether or not Geico comes back to the team after 2015. Geico is currently signed on through the end of 2015.
Prediction: Casey Mears will be back in the No. 13 car beyond 2015.
