Always a fan favorite, Bill Elliott won NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver award a record 16 times. It was likely the reason that he has had two NASCAR-themed video games named after him. The first game came in 1990 when Konami released the first officially licensed NASCAR game, Bill Elliott’s NASCAR Challenge for MS-DOS  (yes you read that right the game was for MS-DOS a precursor to more user-friendly operating system of Microsoft Windows. The next year same game was released for the NES and Amiga gaming systems 1991.  The second game, Bill Elliott’s NASCAR Fast Tracks was released for the Game Boy system the same year.
